This is just a small selection of gigs where Colin play his drums. Some are private recordings, others can be found on for example YouTube.
Cranbrook Church, Kent, England 21 May 2011. With The Delta Jazz Band (private recording by Paul Lindström)
The enthusiastic fan on the front row is Colin’s friend Winfried Maier who had come over from Berlin just to see Colin perform. Next to Winfried there is a glimpse of me, equally enthusiastic.

One of the most viewed drum solos on YouTube is the concert in 1994 (not in 1990 as stated in the intro on YouTube), celebrating the 40th anniversary of Chris Barber’s ‘Professional band’ which was founded on May 31st 1954. The “1954 band” would play the first half followed by the current band in the second half. Here we see and hear founding members Chris Barber (trombone), Pat Halcox (trumpet), Monty Sunshine (clarinet) and Jim Bray (base). Lonnie Donegan (banjo) was sidelined by a cold for a day or two so Johnny McCallum stepped in. Original drummer Ron Bowden could not do the whole tour, so here it’s Colin Bowden who covered parts of it. This was filmed in Rastatt, Germany, and also broadcast on German television. Thank you Bernard Flegar for correcting the info on YouTube.
